Michael Kintz Appointed Member of City of Mobile’s Citizen’s Budget and Finance Advisory Committee

Wilkins Miller  LLC, an accounting and advisory firm with offices in Mobile and Fairhope, is pleased to announce that Michael Kintz, CPA, a partner with the firm, has been appointed as a member of the City of Mobile Citizen’s Budget and Finance Advisory Committee.

The Committee is tasked with providing a public forum to review and analyze existing City financial management and reporting, finance policies and procedures, and ideas and strategies that could be implemented to improve the City’s financial management and reporting.

Kintz graduated from Spring Hill College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and a minor in computer information systems in May 1989 and started with the firm in July 1989.  He has experience in many facets of public accounting, but principally in auditing and accounting. His industry experience includes: governmental organizations, various non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, professional service firms, high technology companies, manufacturing, automobile dealerships, real estate and property management companies, retail businesses and reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He is a member of the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC) and Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center (EBAQC).
