At Wilkins Miller, we know that our success comes from our employees’ unique abilities and personalities. Each month, we will give you a behind-the-scenes look at a member of our team. Q: What do you do at Wilkins Miller?

Financial statement audits, taxes, and consulting on various audit and assurance areas – including but not limited to risk assessment, internal controls, and due diligence.

Q: What makes you good at your job?

I’ve been in public accounting for nine years and have been lucky enough to work with a variety of fantastic clients across a range of industries and sizes. Add to that the incredible resources and wealth of experience I have access to at Wilkins Miller and I think I’m well positioned to help my clients achieve.

Q: What do you like most about Wilkins Miller?

The people – love the whole Wilkins Miller team and the clients I’m privileged to work with.

Q: What is your favorite band/genre of music/artist?

Anyone who knows me knows the answer is Phish because I rarely shut up about them. But I’m a dyed in the wool music nerd that can’t get enough from a variety of genres, from Beethoven to Biggie and everything in between.

Q: When not working, what do you enjoy?

Live music, good food, running, meditation, and travel.

Q: What one thing would you take on a deserted island?

A massive speaker system with access to my Spotify account.

Q: What is your favorite food?

If I could only eat one cuisine it would be Mexican. It’s the perfect food in my opinion. But I love all kinds of food.

Q: What is your favorite quote?

“I have seen deeply that nothing can be by itself alone, that everything has to inter-be with everything else.” -Thich Nhat Hanh

Q: What is an interesting fact about you?

Since 1998 I’ve attended over 570 live musical or comedic performances.

Q: What is your life goal/dream/aspiration?

To be happy and at peace no matter where I am or what I am doing.
