At Wilkins Miller, we know that our success comes from our employees’ unique abilities and personalities. Each month, we will give you a behind-the-scenes look at a member of our team. This month, we’ll introduce you to Bradly Kline. We hope you’ll enjoy getting to know what makes Bradly a great addition to our team.

Q: What do you do at Wilkins Miller?

A little bit of everything – business and individual tax work during tax season and audits of non-profits and employee benefit plans during other times of the year.

Q: What makes you good at your job?

I started my career in a different industry, so I started my accounting career a little later than most. I think that gives me a different world view than others. I have been on the operations side of business, so I have experienced some of the same challenges that our clients have daily.

Q: What do you like most about Wilkins Miller?

I get to work with a group of amazing people who are smart and dedicated to helping others. I like that every day I get challenged and learn something new.

Q: What is your favorite band/genre of music/artist?

Folk rock – The Avett Brothers, Mumford and Sons

Q: When not working, what do you enjoy?

I like spending time with my family. Also, since I do a lot of sitting at my job, when I am not working, I am in my yard or doing other manual labor that makes me sweat.

Q: What one thing would you take on a deserted island?

I would take my family – son Noah and wife Marie.

Q: What is your favorite food?

Anything homemade!

Q: What is your favorite quote?

“It’s not about you” -Jeff Jacobs (our Business Development Director). I like this quote because when I start to feel sorry for myself, selfish, angry, or frustrated about something in life, it reminds me to keep things in perspective. It is a self-reminder about what is most important and what my responsibilities are as a husband, father, and leader of our family.

Q: What is an interesting fact about you?

I have always been a craft beer fan (and still am), but over the last several years I have really gotten into Bourbon, and I have a decent collection going. It has become harder and harder to find the really good stuff, but my beautiful wife (who doesn’t even like the stuff) has been a great ambassador of my hobby. While 7 months pregnant with our son, she went on a secret mission in Las Vegas to surprise me with a bottle of 12-year old Pappy.

Q: What is your life goal/dream/aspiration?

To raise my son to be a successful and generous man and to be an amazing husband and father that my son can be proud of.
