Mallory Bryne

Where are you from? Daphne, AL
College and year in school: Auburn University – Senior
What led you to public accounting? I have a passion for helping people. I believe that through public accounting I can fulfill my passion.
What are you most excited to do/learn during your internship at Wilkins Miller? I am so excited to be interning at Wilkins Miller to get some real world application to all of the accounting information I have learned in school.
Favorite thing to do on day off: My ideal day off starts with a morning run, followed by brunch. I would like to spend the rest of the day shopping and hanging out with friends and family.

Logan Etheridge

Where are you from? Demopolis, AL
College and year in school: University of South Alabama – Senior
What led you to public accounting? I began my college career wanting to do pharmacy, however after working at CVS and struggling with organic chemistry, I decided it was not for me. I also tried chemical engineering before I finally ended up in the Mitchell College of Business, where I aced my first accounting class.
What are you most excited to do/learn during your internship at Wilkins Miller? I am most excited to be able to have a hand in helping prepare tax returns/audits. I got to see a lot of them come through the production room last year when I was a student, so it will be exciting and a full circle experience to be able to help prepare them. It will also be cool to make connections between what I am learning in the classroom and how it is actually done in a work setting.
Favorite thing to do on day off: Either stay at home and do absolutely nothing or spend time with my family

Jaylen Carter

Where are you from? Hoover, AL
College and year in school: University of South Alabama – Senior
What led you to public accounting? Always interested in business – my major was either going to be finance or accounting. I picked accounting because of the challenges it would bring me and the endless opportunities within the area. Public accounting interests me because of the array of services provided and seeing what fits me best.
What are you most excited to do/learn during your internship at Wilkins Miller? I am most excited to prepare real tax returns and to work alongside actual CPAs and upper-level accountants. I am also excited to apply my teachings to my current tax corps. and partnerships class.
Favorite thing to do on day off: Exercise
