Bob Slaby Selected as One of the CPA Practice Advisor’s 40 Under 40

Bob Slaby, a manager with Wilkins Miller, LLC was selected as one of CPA Practice Advisor’s Forty Under 40.  The 2015 class of young professionals features some of the most influential young members of the accounting profession. According to CPA Practice Advisor, “They’re accomplished, they’re passionate, they’re disrupting – and they’re just getting started.”

Slaby is a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in public accounting. He graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He began his career by working for accounting firms in Cleveland, Ohio and Mobile Alabama before joining Wilkins Miller in 2013. Slaby’ s area of special competence includes federal and state tax compliance and planning for corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates and trusts, as well as providing counsel in business valuations and the preparation of business valuation reports.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, Mobile Chapter of Certified Public Accountants where he held the office of President, Member of Estate Planning Council of Mobile, Junior Achievement of Mobile as a Volunteer teacher and Coordinator for WM volunteers,  Mobile Alabama Catholic Diocese Eucharistic Minister, Corpus Christi Catholic School Booster Club past Treasurer, and has participated in ASCPA’s Third Leadership Academy.
