Blaine Baronet has been apart of the Wilkins Miller IT team since 2019, after joining the firm as a student administrative assistant in 2015. He currently assists with the Wilkins Miller IT Helpdesk.

In his spare time, Blaine enjoys playing guitar, board games and listening to music.

Paighton Becker

Accounting Specialist

Paighton joined the team as an accounting clerk in 2022 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics & Statistics and a minor in general business from the University of South Alabama. Throughout her college career, she worked in various roles throughout the accounting industry.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and newborn daughter, fishing, going to the beach and volunteering in her church’s children’s department.

Patricia M. Bessonen, CPA

Partner

As a partner of Wilkins Miller, Pat Bessonen has worked in public accounting since 1983.

Pat specializes in the areas of financial reporting for closely held businesses and not-for-profit organizations, outsourced accounting services, income tax preparation and estate and gift tax planning for individuals. She has worked with clients in many industries including retail, wholesale and service industries.

She is an active member of the America International Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and Estate Planning Council of Mobile, Alabama.

Outside of work, Pat enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Greg A. Bowen, CFA, CFP®

Wealth Management Managing Director

Greg Bowen joined in 2008 after serving as a Vice President of the US Wealth Management division of UBS. Greg earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama and Master's of Business Administration from Clemson University.

He is a CFA® charterholder and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. His primary areas of focus are investment management, retirement income planning and business retirement plans.

Greg is an active member of the CFA Institute, the Financial Planning Association and the Estate Planning Council of Mobile, Inc. He also serves as an adjunct instructor of finance at the University of South Alabama.

In his spare time, Greg enjoys coaching youth sports, fishing, boating, and travel. He and his family attend St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Caitlin Brewer

Associate

Caitlin joined the team as an associate in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting from Spring Hill College. She has previous experience in the accounting industry and is currently pursuing her Master’s of Accountancy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys working out, DIY crafts and spending time with her animals, family and friends.

Scott L. Browning, CPA, MTA

Partner

As a partner of Wilkins Miller, Scott Browning has worked in public accounting since 1996. Upon earning a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama and a Master's of Taxation from The University of Alabama, Scott began his career with a national accounting firm in Birmingham before joining the firm.

Scott specializes in federal and multi-state tax compliance and planning for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts and has strong experience in the preparation of financial statements, bookkeeping, contractor's licenses, and representation in Internal Revenue Service and state department of revenue examinations.

He is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Scott sits on the board of directors for The University of Alabama Federal Tax Clinic and is the treasurer for the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. He was a part of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants Leadership Academy Class of 2012 and was named one of Mobile Bay magazine's "Forty Under 40."

Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with family, hunting, fishing and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Lucas Brunson, CPA

Senior Associate

Lucas joined the firm as an intern in 2020. After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting from the University of South Alabama, he was brought on as a staff accountant. He was promoted to senior associate in 2022.

Lucas enjoys board games, being outside, and sports of all kinds, especially baseball and disc golf. He also likes volunteering with the Mobile Animal Shelter and Door to Serenity, and bowling with the Special Needs Athletic Program (SNAP).

Alison Bunch

Associate

Alison joined the Wilkins Miller team as an intern in 2022 and was quickly brought on as a full-time employee.

After earning a Bachelor of Business Management from Huntingdon College in 2019, Alison began her career in the human resources industry, which sparked her interest in pursuing accounting. She is currently completing the necessary requirements for the CPA exam with the University of South Alabama.

Outside of the office, Alison enjoys being outdoors, traveling, playing board games, and spending time with her husband, family, and church family. She is also actively involved in the community, participating in the food pantry ministry.

Sallie Byrd, CPA

Manager

Sallie Byrd began her career with Wilkins Miller in 2012 as a staff accountant and was named manager in 2020. Her areas of special competence include tax compliance and planning for trust, gift, estate, and not-for-profit clients.

Sallie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of South Alabama. She is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Estate Planning Council of Mobile. Sallie also serves as a Board Member of the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program where she participates on both the finance and audit committees.

Outside of the office, Sallie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, and exploring new hobbies.

Mallory Byrne, CPA

Senior Associate

Mallory joined the firm in 2020 as an intern. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and Master’s of Accountancy from Auburn University, she was brought on as a Staff Accountant in 2021 and was promoted to senior associate in 2022. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Outside of the office, Mallory enjoys running, cooking, shopping and going to the beach. She also enjoys serving at her church in Daphne.

Jamie Carag

Scheduling & Data Specialist

Jamie joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2018 and was named scheduling & data specialist in 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northwestern State University and has previous experience in various industries. Jamie provides administrative support for the firm, which includes scheduling of assignments to the professional staff and maintenance of the project database.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog.

Hayley Carlton

Operations Coordinator

Hayley Carlton joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2016 as a student administrative assistant. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of South Alabama in 2018, she joined the firm full time as the marketing assistant. She was promoted to operations coordinator in 2023.

She is an active member of the Mobile Baykeeper's Young Advisory Council and a board member of Impact100 Mobile.

In her spare time, Hayley enjoys playing tennis, reading, and exploring all the exciting things Mobile has to offer.

W. Allen Carroll, Jr., CPA/ABV, CFF, CVA

Partner

Allen Carroll first joined the firm in 1987 when it was formerly Pannell Kerr Forster and now serves as its Managing Partner. Allen’s experience is vast ranging from litigation and consulting services to traditional tax and accounting services in a variety of industries. Allen routinely works with attorneys and their clients as a damages expert and forensic accountant related to commercial disputes and civil and criminal litigation. He is experienced in all phases of the litigation process and has testified in federal and state courts and in arbitration hearings at the request of both plaintiffs and defendants.

Allen has served as an expert witness and consulting expert in a variety of matters and has led many engagements including determining economic damages, lost profits, accounting malpractice cases where he evaluated CPA professional standards, white-collar criminal matters, forensic investigations, intellectual property damages, bankruptcy, and business valuations.

He has participated in several high-profile matters including serving as expert for Plaintiffs’ Class Counsel in the Singing River Health Systems Pension Litigation that resulted in a $149,950,000 settlement and the BP Oil Spill Multi-District Litigation, professional malpractice related to a big four accounting firm, several criminal matters including the owner of one of the largest automobile dealerships in the U.S. and the owners of a large specialty pharmacy. Allen led a team that evaluated several thousand business claims, for counsel, under the BP Oil Spill Settlement Agreement. Allen and his team led the training and education of numerous CPA firms throughout the southeast in calculating damages under the BP Settlement Agreement.

Allen has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (concentration in accounting) from the University of South Alabama. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Association of International CPAs and the Alabama Society of CPAs. Allen is Accredited in Business Valuation and been designated as Certified in Financial Forensics by the Association of International CPAs. He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

Allen has been involved with several civic activities in the community. In May of 2019, Allen was appointed by Governor Kay Ivey to the Alabama Securities Commission. He is on the University of South Alabama Foundation and the Executive Advisory Council for the Mitchell College of Business (MCOB) and is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, Allen was named as a Mitchell College of Business IMPACT member, one of fifty (50) MCOB alumni recognized as a part of the University’s 50th Anniversary. He has served St. Luke’s Episcopal School as both Chairman and Treasurer for the Board of Trustees. Allen was a member of the National Board of Directors for Distinguished Young Women (formerly known as America’s Junior Miss). He was involved with the Mobile and Baldwin Counties Community of Concern Advisory Committee. Allen has been a committee member of the Mobile Chapter of Young Certified Public Accountants and has served on the Accounting Advisory Board for the University of South Alabama. He has also been an instructor for continuing education programs for the Mobile Chapter of Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, and has been involved with leading other continuing education programs as well.

Allen enjoys spending time on Dauphin Island with his family. He loves aviation, boating and motorcycles.

Karah Champion

Accounting Specialist

Karah Champion joined Wilkins Miller in 2013, as a student administrative assistant. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of South Alabama in 2015, she joined the firm full time as part of the Administrative team. Karah moved to Arizona in 2020 where she continues to work remotely within our Outsourced Accounting Services department providing bookkeeping and payroll services to our clients.

In her spare time, Karah enjoys spending time with her friends and family and relaxing at her family’s cabin in the mountains of northern Arizona.

Judy Chen, CPA

Manager

Judy Chen has over 20 years of experience in public accounting and joined Wilkins Miller's predecessor firm, Hieronymus Gaillard & Jones in 2008. She was promoted to manager in 2019. Specializing in special competence including compilation and review of various business entities, taxation of corporations, partnerships, individuals, and non-profit organizations, as well as accounting services that include license renewals, business personal property tax returns, payroll, general ledger and QuickBooks support.

In 1990, Judy received a Bachelor of Science in Information & Library from the Central China Normal University, and in 1999 a Master's of Accounting from the University of South Alabama.

She is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and is the Principal of Mobile Chinese School.

In her spare time, Judy enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, reading and traveling.

Morgan Cooper

Marketing Director

Morgan Cooper joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2015 as the marketing coordinator and was promoted to marketing director in 2019. After graduating from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Morgan worked in non-profit marketing and development.

Morgan and her husband, two daughters, and dogs, reside in Fairhope. She enjoys attending Auburn Football games, reading, crafting and spending time with her family.

Laura Crew

Associate

Laura first joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2022 as a student administrative assistant. While earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting from the University of South Alabama, Laura completed an internship with our firm and, in 2023, was brought on as a full-time associate.

Outside of work she enjoys going for walks, playing disc golf with her husband, gardening and having game nights with family and friends.

Stacy T. Cummings, CPA, CFF, CVA

Partner

Stacy received her Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi in 2001, and immediately began her accounting career with Wilkins Miller. She was named partner in 2017. Her experience includes individual and business taxation and income tax planning, audits of multiple-state wholesale distributors, manufacturers, not-for-profit entities and benefit plans, and consulting services including litigation services and business valuations. She is a Certified Public Accountant and also holds designations of Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) issued by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) issued by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysists (NACVA). She is a member of the AICPA, Alabama Society of CPA’s, and NACVA.

Stacy has been involved with the Alabama Society of CPA’s by serving on the Board of both the State and Local Chapters and as a CPA Ambassador. She is a founding member of Impact100 Mobile serving as its Treasurer. She volunteers as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Alabama and has participated with the Junior Achievement program and served on the Executive Committee for the United Way of Southwest Alabama’s Earned Income Tax Credit Initiative. She has also been involved with the Alabama Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society serving on the Advisory Council and as a member of the Mobile Multiple Sclerosis Leadership Class. Stacy was named one of Mobile Bay magazine's "Forty Under 40," and a Focus “2022 40/40 Honoree.” She is a graduate of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants Leadership Academy Class IV.

Lyndsey Dixon, CPA, CVA

With over ten years of experience in public accounting, Lyndsey Dixon began her career with a regional firm in Montgomery before joining Wilkins Miller in 2012, and was named partner in 2022. Lyndsey's industry experience includes providing consulting services related to accounting, auditing, special projects, and leading internal management tasks; litigation services; audits of financial institutions, non-profit organizations, agriculture, construction and employee benefit plans.

Lyndsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama, and a Master's of Business Administration from Auburn University Montgomery.

She is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. She is also a graduate of the EMERGE Young Professionals Torchbearers Leadership Class III and ASCPA Leadership Academy Class IV, a Junior Achievement volunteer, Ronald McDonald House volunteer and ASCPA Classroom Blitz volunteer. Lyndsey also serves on the Young Advisory Council for Mobile Baykeeper.

Bridget Ehlers, CPTD

Talent and Development Director

Bridget joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2012 after working in the non-profit industry. She graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Sociology before going on to receive a Master's in Public Administration from Troy University. In 2021, she was promoted to talent and development director and became a Certified Professional in Talent Development in 2022. In her current role, she strives to help others meet their potential.

When she is not planning training opportunities for the team or assisting with special projects, you can find her spending time at the beach, trying to squeeze in seeing live music, or answering the question “why” for the 100th time with her husband Billy and their two littles.

Will Eichstaedt

Associate

Will joined the team as an associate in 2022 while completing his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and soccer, working out, walking his dog and catching up on the latest Netflix shows.

Jessica Fisher

Senior Associate

Jessica first joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2017 as a student administrative assistant. Upon earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting from the University of South Alabama, Jessica completed an internship with our firm and, in 2019, was brought on as a full-time staff accountant. In 2021, she was promoted to senior associate specializing in trust and estate tax.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and their three-year-old daughter; she is a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters; she loves to read, explore new places, and meet new people.

Patrick Fisher

Patrick joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2017 as an student administrative assistant. He joined the firm full time in January of 2019 and graduated with an integrated Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Mobile in May of 2019. In 2021, he was promoted to senior associate.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys fitness, watching baseball, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.

Simon Fox, CPA

Manager

Simon Fox joined the Wilkins Miller team as an accountant in 2015 and was promoted to manager in 2020. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration with a concentration in finance from The University of Alabama, Simon began his career in the insurance industry.

His areas of special competence include audits, reviews and compilations of non-public companies, employee benefit plans and non-profit organizations. Simon’s industry experience includes construction contractors and engineers, manufacturing, and non-profit organizations.

He is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of International Certified Public Accountants, and the Construction Leadership Council. Simon serves as a member on the Advisory Council for the Mobile Chapter of the Alabama Society of CPAs.

Holly Henderson

Associate

Holly joined the team as an associate in 2022, with experience as an accountant in the healthcare industry and as an examiner for the State of Alabama Examiners of Public Accounts.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Montevallo.

Outside of the office, she enjoys running, fishing, being on a boat, and spending time with family.

Dottie Hill

Administrative Coordinator

Dottie Hill joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2019, with over 20 years of experience in customer service and sales support. She provides support to a variety of the firm’s internal operations. In 2021, she was promoted to administrative coordinator.

In her spare time, Dottie enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing, live music, SEC football and meeting new people.

Tim Hopkins, CPA

Supervisor

Tim joined the firm as a supervisor in 2021. He earned a Masters of Accounting from Oakland University Rochester Hills and went on to build a career as a audit manager and firm administrator.

Outside of the office, Tim enjoys travel, historical research, live theater, gardening and video games.

Tyler Hubbard

IT Solutions Provider

Tyler joined the Wilkins Miller Information Technologies team in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of South Alabama. He has 10 years of IT experience working in the healthcare and engineering industries.

Tyler is active in the Freemasonry organization, that helps give free dental work to kids in need, as well as supporting the Shriners Children's Hospitals.

In his spare time, Tyler enjoys gardening, music production, and building aquariums.

Mary Katherine Hudson

Consultant

Mary Katherine joined the Wilkins Miller team as an accountant after receiving a Bachelor's of Accountancy from Mississippi State University and a Master's in Accountancy from the University of South Alabama. Mary-Katherine is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor® and Bill.com Expert. She was promoted to consultant in 2020.

She is an active member of the Junior League of Mobile and will serve on the nominating committee for Junior League of Mobile for 2023.

Mary-Katherine enjoys reading, playing tennis, and spending time at the beach.

Jeff Jacobs

Director of Development

Jeff joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2018 after working in banking and information technology business development for several years. He graduated from the University of Mobile with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. Jeff assists the firm in personal development of team and the development of new and existing clients.

He is the founder of the Fatherhood Initiative for the Women’s Resource Center in Mobile AL, a teaching leader for Men’s Bible Study Fellowship, past board president of the Salvation Army Young Professional Group and a member of the University of Mobile School of Business Advisory Council.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and children, running and meeting new people.

John W. Jeffries, CPA, CVA

As a partner of Wilkins Miller, John Jeffries began his career in public accounting in 1990. With a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama, John's areas of special competence include both business and individual accounting, taxation and consulting.

John has strong experience in the preparation of financial statements, including audits, reviews, and compilations for closely held businesses, bookkeeping services, income tax preparation and planning (including corporate, partnership and individual), as well as, consulting and business valuation preparation. John has offered counsel to clients in many areas, with a focus in construction, construction-related businesses and professional service firms.

John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, Construction Financial Management Association, and Associated General Contractors. He also sits on the board of the St. Paul's Episcopal School Foundation.

John enjoys hunting, fishing, cycling, and watching college sports. His favorite vacation spot is Mt. Willing, Alabama.

Jack Johnson, CPA

Jack Johnson began his career with Wilkins Miller in 2013 as an intern, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in English from Auburn University and a Master's of Accounting from the University of South Alabama. Jack was named manager in 2020 and his areas of special competence include tax and audit.

He is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of International Certified Public Accountants.

Jack enjoys live music in all forms, hanging out with his wife & family, and traveling whenever possible.

Melody Johnson

Administrative Assistant

Melody joined the team as an administrative assistant in 2022. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama and has previous experience as a teacher and administrative assistant.

In her spare time, Melody enjoys doing yoga, roller skating and watching movies.

Devon Johnston

Network Administrator

Devon Johnston has been apart of the Wilkins Miller IT team since 2012, after serving for two years with the United States Army. He specializes in hardware and software troubleshooting and investigative diagnostics. He was promoted to network administrator in 2022.

In his spare time, Devon enjoys reading, drawing, location-based games and collectible card games.

Erin S. Jones, CPA

Partner

Erin Jones brings more than twenty years of experience in public accounting to the Wilkins Miller team. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master's in Business Administration from Spring Hill College, Erin joined the firm in 2003 and was named partner in 2017.

Her areas of special competence include audits, reviews and compilations of non-profit organizations, state and local governments, non-public companies and employee benefit plans and the multi-state taxation of corporations, partnerships and individuals, including international considerations. Erin's industry experience lies in construction contractors and engineers, professional service firms, retail sales, manufacturing, universities and timber and real estate management.

Erin is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is the past president of the Mobile Chapter of the ASCPA, the current treasurer of the Mulherin Custodial Home Board of Directors, finance committee member of the United Way of Southwest Alabama Board of Trustees, a graduate of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants Leadership Academy Class III. She was also included in Mobile Bay magazine's "Forty Under 40" Class of 2015 and the Alabama Associated General Contractors 2021 Class of “40 Under 40”.

Jeffrey Kintz earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration and Master of Taxation from the University of Alabama. He began his public accounting career in 2017 with a national firm in Nashville, Tenn. and joined the firm as a supervisor in 2020. He was promoted to manager in 2022. Jeffrey focuses on tax compliance and planning for closely-held businesses and their owners with significant experience in the real estate and auto dealership industries.

In his spare time, Jeffrey enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and traveling.

Michael J. Kintz, CPA

Partner

As a partner of Wilkins Miller, Michael Kintz joined the firm in 1989. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and a minor in computer information systems from Spring Hill College.

His responsibilities primarily include financial reporting and assurance, consulting in the outsourced accounting services area, and personnel recruiting for the firm. Michael's industry experience includes professional service firms, employee benefit plans, non-profit organizations, dealerships, municipalities and governmental agencies, and technology companies.

Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, Governmental Audit Quality Center, and Not-for-Profit Section, as well as the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Michael was appointed by Governor Kay Ivey to the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy and is a member of the Nominating Committee of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). He has served on the City of Mobile Citizens' Budget and Finance Advisory Council and the National Alumni Association of Spring Hill College.

Over his career Michael has been involved in various non-profit and community initiatives, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, the United Way Allocation Committee, Junior Achievement of Mobile, Goodwill Easter Seals, Corpus Christi School, Legatus, Catholic Social Services, Downtown Rotary Club of Mobile, and Kiwanis of Mobile.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing basketball, racquetball, and golf.

Leigh S. Knosher, CPA, MTA

Partner

Leigh joined Wilkins Miller in 2002 and was named partner in 2017. She brings over thirty years of experience in public accounting and specializes in federal and multi state taxation. Leigh's experience includes working with a national accounting firm as well as owning her own accounting practice in Fairhope.

Leigh earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama and a Master's of Taxation from The University of Alabama.

She is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and Impact 100 of Baldwin County. Leigh also serves on the national board for Distinguished Young Women.

Kaden Kramer

Kaden joined the firm as an intern in 2022. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting from Auburn University, he was brought on as an associate.

Outside of the office, Kaden enjoys reading and being outdoors.

Arica Lane

Senior Associate

Arica Lane earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of South Alabama. She joined Wilkins Miller as an intern in 2017 and joined the firm full-time in 2018. In 2021, she was promoted to senior associate.

In her spare time, Arica enjoys hanging out with family, making cakes for her small business Cakes By Arica, playing guitar on the worship team at West Mobile Baptist Church, and traveling/photography with her husband.

Evan Mahone

Associate

Evan joined the team as an associate in 2022 while completing his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting from the University of South Alabama.

In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with friends at the beach or bay and watching Auburn football.

Jordynne McCarty, CPA

Supervisor

Jordynne McCarty earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2018. She joined the Wilkins Miller team as an intern in 2019 and was brought on as a full-time employee in 2020.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, outdoor activities, woodworking and spending time with her children.

Lindsey McCarty

Senior Associate

Lindsey graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting in December of 2019. She rejoined the Wilkins Miller team in 2022 after previous experience from another accounting firm and was promoted to senior associate later that year.

Lindsey enjoys spending time with her dogs and family, being outside, refurbishing furniture and a good cup of coffee.

Kelley McLean

Administrative Assistant

Kelley first joined the student administrative team in 2014, before returning full time as an Administrative Assistant in 2022.

She graduated with an associate degree in Early Childhood Education in 2020 from Coastal Alabama Community College and is currently earning a bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Professional Development at the University of South Alabama with plans to graduate December 2023.

In her spare time, Kelley enjoys spending time with her husband and son, being outdoors and volunteering with her church.

Brandi Morgan, CPA

Partner

Brandi Morgan brings over fifteen years of experience in public accounting to the Wilkins Miller team. She was named partner in 2020. She manages the Outsourced Accounting Services team which provides back-office accounting solutions for various companies. With a focus to increase financial visibility, Brandi helps companies streamline their accounting functions and achieve their goals. She specializes in financial reporting for closely held businesses, individual and business taxation, tax planning, payroll compliance, and financial analysis. Brandi is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor® and Bill.com Guru. She has experience with clients in a variety of industries including healthcare, professional services, non-profit, real estate, and construction.

Brandi earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Alabama. She is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Mobile Multiple Sclerosis Leadership Class of 2013. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast, Inc.

Outside of the office, Brandi enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading.

Shawna Robinson

Associate

Shawna earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Morehead State University and worked in the accounting industry before joining the team in 2023.

In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors and with her husband.

Carley Munger

Senior Associate

While earning a bachelor's degree of science in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of South Alabama, Carley Munger joined Wilkins Miller in 2013 in a student administration position. After graduation, she moved into an internship position and later started full time as a staff accountant in 2015 and was named a senior associate in 2021. Currently, Carley assists the team as needed during peak seasons.

Carley enjoys being outside (before it gets too hot) and a night of dinner and games with friends and family.

Dariel Murray

Wealth Management Associate

Dariel Murray joined Wilkins Miller Wealth Management in 2008 as an Associate after working for a national financial firm. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in public relations and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of South Alabama. Dariel is also a graduate of Southern Trust School.

She has been involved with the Capital Campaign at St. Mary’s Church and Advisory Board and was a former Treasurer of the Young Republicans of Mobile County.

In her spare time, Dariel enjoys time with her family and participating in the many sporting events her children are involved.

Barou Ndaw

Associate

Barou joined the team as an outsourced accounting intern in 2021 while completing his bachelors and masters degrees from Spring Hill College. In 2022, he was promoted to associate.

Outside of the office, Barou enjoys coaching and playing soccer, playing basketball and spending time with his wife Mecca.

Skip Nelson

IT Manager

Skip Nelson joined the Wilkins Miller IT team in 2009. With an extensive knowledge with servers, workstations and computer networks, Skip specializes in system troubleshooting and customer service.

In his spare time, Skip enjoys spending time with family and working on cars, ATV’s and motorcycles.

Rhonda Nowling

Billing Coordinator

Rhonda Nowling joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2013, with over 35 years of experience of working in accounts receivable and payable, collections and billing. In 2021, she was promoted to billing coordinator.

In her spare time, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses and fishing.

Andy Odle

IT Director

As the Wilkins Miller IT director, Andy Odle, has extensive IT support knowledge and over 30 years of experience. He specializes in network design, network management and cyber security.

Outside of the office, he enjoys fishing, golfing and working with the Boy Scouts of America.

Samantha O'Dowd, CPA

Senior Associate

Samantha O’Dowd earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Auburn University and Master of Accountancy from Samford University. She began her public accounting career with an international firm in Atlanta, GA and joined the firm as an associate in 2021. She was promoted to senior associate in 2022.

In her spare time, Samantha enjoys reading, baking, fitness classes, and spending time with her husband and toddler.

Mandy Parker, CPA

Manager

Mandy Parker began her career with Wilkins Miller in 2013 as an intern and was named manager in 2020. Her areas of special competence include taxation of individuals, partnerships, non-profits and corporations with significant real estate industry experience.

Mandy earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama and a Master's of Accounting from the University of South Alabama. She is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants and Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mandy served as the Vice President of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants Young CPA Cabinet.

In her spare time, Mandy enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering at her sons’ school, weekends at the beach, and anything active.

Brandy Pate

Firm Administrator

Brandy began working for Wilkins Miler in 1991. A graduate from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in HR Management, she brings strong experience in management and recruiting to the Wilkins Miller team. Brandy oversees firm operations and is the unofficial director of process improvement. She strives for consistency and ensures new processes are properly vetted, implemented, and adopted. Brandy’s attention to detail ensures that processes are streamlined and efficient. Her commitment to excellence helps us maintain our high standards across all departments.

Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her family. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart, and they enjoy spending time outdoors and on the water with their daughter, her family and their furbabies. Her three grandchildren are her pride and joy and keep her smiling...and busy.

Gwen Pitts

Administrative Assistant

Gwen Pitts joined the team in 2021 as an Administrative Assistant for our Fairhope location. She attended Coastal Community College and has experience in the accounting industry for the State of Alabama Conservation Department, business ownership and the partnering of properties development companies.

Gwen supports local artists and works in film industry projects along the Gulf Coast. She currently serves as committee member of the annual Fairhope Film Festival. Since 2018, Gwen serves on the board of directors for the Home of Grace for Women in Mobile. This facility has helped women recover from substance abuse for over 50 years.

Outside of the office, Gwen enjoys developing her art, live music, beach and outdoor activities with family and her dog, church, traveling, estate sales, and attending community events that make Fairhope a great place to be.

Catherine Quackenbush

Consultant

Catherine earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting from the University of South Alabama. She began her career in public accounting in 2005 before joining the firm as a consultant in 2022.

An avid dog-lover, Catherine has served as treasurer for the Friends of Mobile Dog Park, assisted with the opening of the Julien Marx Dog Park and enjoys walking shelter dogs every month. She is also a member of the non-profit organization Impact 100.

In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities, going to concerts, hanging out with her dogs and friends, reading and cooking.

Kristian Reeves, CPA

Manager

Kristian Reeves joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2012, and was named manager in 2020. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Spring Hill College and a Master's of Accounting from the University of South Alabama, Kristian's areas of special competence include audits of non-profit organizations, state and local governments, non-public companies and employee benefit plans.

She is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of International Certified Public Accountants. She serves as a member on the Advisory Council for the Greater Mobile Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Outside of work, Kristian enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and baking.

Sandy Reynolds

Associate

Sandy joined the Wilkins Miller team in 2022. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia and went on to build an extensive career in the accounting industry. Being a licensed CPA, she has enjoyed working for many different CPA firms since her husband’s job has relocated them many times.

In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at her church, hiking, traveling, reading and taking YMCA Sh’Bam and Zumba classes and playing with her grandchildren.

Greta Shockley

As the Wilkins Miller Controller, Greta Shockley brings 30 years of industry accounting leadership experience to the firm.

Greta possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of North Alabama.

Maggie Short

Senior Associate

Maggie Short joined the Wilkins Miller team as a student administrative assistant in 2019. She joined the firm full time in 2022 after graduating from the University of South Alabama earning a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.

In her spare time, Maggie enjoys shopping and spending time with her friends and dog.

Tammy Smith

Accounting Coordinator

Tammy Smith brings over 20 years of experience in bookkeeping, sales tax and payroll preparation to the Wilkins Miller team. Tammy studied Payroll Accounting at the University of South Alabama, is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor® and is AIPB (American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers) certified.

In her spare time, she volunteers as the church treasurer of Smithtown Baptist Church. Tammy also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and photography.

L. Page Stalcup, III, CPA/ABV

As a partner of Wilkins Miller, Page Stalcup joined the firm in 1978 when the office was originally Wilkins & Miller, which later that year became the Mobile Office of Pannell Kerr Forster. In 1991, Page became a founding shareholder of Wilkins Miller, P.C.

His areas of competence include a heavy concentration in all areas of accounting and taxation including, but not limited to corporate, partnership, individual and fiduciary, tax and estate planning. Page has significant and diverse real estate industry experience. He also offers specialized experience in economic, financial, operational, organizational and management consulting accounting and/or auditing for real estate, colleges and universities, construction, manufacturing and many others.

Page is accredited in business valuation and certified in financial forensics. He serves as an investment advisor representative of Wilkins Miller Wealth Management.

Page has served in the financial advisory service areas for many years. He offers particular expertise in electronic worksheet analysis, economic modeling, strategic planning, financial forecasts, projections and budgeting to include full forecasted/projected financial condition and results of operation. With experience in mergers and acquisitions engagements, litigation engagements, business valuation engagements, as well as succession and family business planning, Page is a teacher and lecturer on the accounting industry and tax topics often related to the real estate industry as well as forensic accounting and fraud.

Page is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was the President of the 59th Annual Alabama Federal Tax Clinic, Vice President of the 58th Annual Alabama Federal Tax Clinic and served on the board of directors of the University of South Alabama, Mitchell College of Business, Center for Real Estate & Economic Development (CREED) Advisory Board. Page served on the board of directors of the Ascension Health Alabama Health Ministry, Providence Health System, Providence Hospital, Providence Hospital Audit Committee, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Alabama, and Alabama Opportunity Scholarship Fund. As well as an appointed member for the City of Mobile, Citizens Budget & Finance Advisory Board, City of Mobile, Ad Hoc Committee for City Revenue & Growth Analysis, City of Mobile Mayor’s Financial Advisory Committee and an associate member of the Certified Commercial Investment.

Savannah Stephens

Savannah joined the team as an associate in 2022 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and minor in management and Spanish from the University of South Alabama.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading romance novels, watching reality TV, playing disc golf and hanging out with her dog, Ginger.

Katie Taylor

Katie joined the Wilkins Miller administrative team in 2022, after experience in the food service management industry.

Outside of the office, Katie is a Master Gardener and enjoys cross-stitching, reading and spending time with her pets.

Lauren Taylor

Lauren Taylor joined the Wilkins Miller billing team in 2021 with previous experience in bookkeeping and tax processing. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and going to the beach.

Katelyn Thigpen, CPA, MAcc

Manager

Katelyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from the University of Alabama. She began her career in public accounting in 2013 before joining the firm as a manager in 2022. She is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Katelyn has served on the Birmingham Young CPA Board, the Alabama State Society of CPA’s Young CPA Cabinet, and the University of Alabama Accounting Young Professionals Advisory Group.

Outside of the office, she enjoys baking, gardening, being crafty and traveling with family.

Kate Welch, CPA

Manager

Kate Welch joined the firm as a consultant in 2018. After graduating summa cum laude and earning a Bachelor’s degree in sports management in 2011 from the University of South Alabama, Kate began her career in the construction and legal industries. She earned her Master’s in Accounting in 2020 from the University of South Alabama. She was promoted to manager in 2023.

Kate's areas of special competence include audits and reviews of non-public companies and non-profit organizations. Kate’s industry experience lies in construction contractors.

Micah Wheeler, CPA

Partner

Micah joined Wilkins Miller in 2006 and was named partner in 2020. Micah has specialized in audits of real estate development and management companies, wholesale and retail businesses, and non-profit entities. Through audits and consulting roles, Micah helps organizations design, implement, and maintain accounting processes that provide decision makers with meaningful, timely, and relevant financial information. Micah works with numerous organizations in an outsourced CFO role, and has significant experience assisting with accounting and reporting associated with tax-exempt bond financings for real estate developments.

Micah is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants and Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Micah serves on the Board of the University of South Alabama Alumni Association, and serves as past President on the Advisory Board for the University of South Alabama School of Accounting, and has served as the treasurer for Azalea City Montessori, and Gulf Regional Early Childhood Services. Micah is a Big with Big Brothers Big Sisters and has volunteered with Junior Achievement. Micah is a founding member of the Order of Fuse with the Fuse Project and was also a participant of the ASCPA Leadership Academy Class V.

Outside of work, Micah enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, baseball traveling, running and staying active.

Sherri Wike

Receptionist

Sherri Wike joined the Wilkins Miller administrative team in 2011. As the firm's receptionist, Sherri is the first team member to be seen. She is there to greet everyone with a smile and assist clients with whatever they may need. Sherri enjoys using her second language, German, whenever possible with visiting clients.

In 1998, Sherri graduated magna cum laude from Faulker State with an Associate of Science in Business Management.

Her favorite part of working at Wilkins Miller is the wonderful people who work there.

Mitchell Wolfe, CPA

Manager

Mitchell Wolfe earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Alabama in August of 2017 and his masters in December of 2018. He joined the Wilkins Miller team as a staff accountant in 2018 bringing previous experience from other accounting firms. He was promoted to supervisor in 2022.

Mitchell volunteers at the Prodisee Pantry in Spanish Fort. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, sailing, going to the beach, and anything on the water.

Jing Yu, CPA

Manager

Jing Yu brings over twenty years of experience in public accounting to the Wilkins Miller team, and focuses on the review of various business entities, taxation of corporations, partnerships and individuals, as well as accounting services that include license renewals, business personal property tax returns, and QuickBooks support. She was promoted to manager in 2020.

In 1996, Jing received the Award in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles, after earning a Master's of Art in Educational Administration from New Mexico Highlands University. She is also a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants and Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In her spare time, Jing enjoys reading, traveling and photography.

Frank D. Brown, CPA (Retired)

Emeritus Partner

Partner emeritus Frank Brown joined the firm in 1981 when the office was Pannell Kerr Forster. He became a shareholder of Wilkins Miller, P.C. in 1991, with a concentration in financial consulting, income and estate tax planning, general business consulting and auditing. In 1977, Frank earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Auburn University at Montgomery. As a former partner, Frank continues to consult with the firm and with clients regarding various projects.

As a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants and Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, he has served as a national instructor for Pannell Kerr Forster education programs, an author for education courses explaining tax law changes and a lecturer on tax planning strategies for high income individuals.

Frank’s memberships have included the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of South Alabama, Inc., Mobile Christian School, the John W. Laidlaw Foundation and the Mobile Estate Planning Council. Frank enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, inshore fishing, and boating on Rabbit Creek.

Kenneth E. Litton, Jr., CPA (Retired)

Emeritus Partner

Kenneth Litton brings more than forty years of progressive accounting, audit, and tax experience to the Wilkins Miller team. Ken began his accounting career with a local CPA firm where he later became a partner. He joined Wilkins Miller when the firm acquired the Mobile-based accounting practice of Cherry Bekaert & Holland (CBH), a large regional accounting and consulting firm. Ken served as the Partner-in-Charge of CBH's Mobile office for over ten years and was a member of the firm's estate & gift tax committee and tax committee.

With extensive experience with working with closely held businesses in consulting and planning for minimizing income and estate taxes and business succession planning, Ken specializes in tax and accounting services for forestry related entities, estate & gift tax planning, manufacturers, and closely held businesses.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1969, Ken went on to serve as a Lieutenant in the United States Army in Okinawa as an Air Defense Missile Officer.

He is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, Estate Planning Council of Mobile, a former president of Kiwanis Club of Bel Air and a former board president of the Mobile Association for the Blind.

Ken enjoys playing tennis, spending time with family and grandchildren, cooking outdoors, and going to the Gulf Coast beaches. He is active in his church where he serves as a deacon and is on various committees.
